What exactly is Sodium Tartrate?
The density of the sodium tartrate product is 1.818, and the pH value of the product is about 7.0 to 8.0. Some products have a certain degree of water solubility. From the appearance, it is a transparent, colorless squamous columnar crystal or a white crystalline powder. It has no noticeable odor, but it has a little salty taste. There is a tiny dilution, so storing it in a dry place is recommended. It will decompose after preheating.
What are the main uses of sodium tartrate?
This product can be used as a chelating agent product or a unit regulator product, or even as an antioxidant synergist product and emulsifying salt or antioxidant product to use. It can also be used as a flavoring agent in many refreshing drinks or sake products.
When processing artificial milk, sausage, jam, jelly, and other products in the food industry, you can safely add sodium tartrate or even combine it with tartaric acid to soften the sour taste of tartaric acid.
